In our client survey of 2003, we included a blank box, for clients to say whatever they wanted about Pastfinders - good or bad. The survey was returned to us anonymously (in order to encourage honest responses), and the comments below are unedited An excellent customer driven service I have been thrilled with the information sent to me and have recommended you to several acquantainces. Keep up the good work I am extremely satisfied with your service. I have and would tell others about your services. You unlocked a number of doors for me with information that I was unable to locate You guys do a terrific job, cannot fault you. Keep up the great work, should be more people like yourselves out in the world I found the service provided by Pastfinders excellent and I will certainly use them again in the near future I was introduced through a Rootsweb chat group recommendation. Your help to me has been top drawer I can say plenty good about Pastfinders.net, but so far nothing bad. Give me time, maybe I'll find something!! After working for over twelve years on four family trees (both of my parents and both of my husbands') and amassing over twelve thousand records I was unable to find much data on the family of my grandfather. Pastfinders provided data enabling me to continue piecing together the puzzle (for a while at least) on my own. Pastfinders is very 'user-friendly'! My many email messages were answered promptly; the response to my initial enquiry included well-explained details of services and their associated costs as well as some FREE data; making electronic payments was simple; AND..waiting time minimized as the documents were sent both electronically and via the post. Unlike other researchers I have engaged who left me feeling uncomfortable about asking questions, with Pastfinders I felt I was working WITH Paul Madelin and that he was working with (rather than simply 'for') me. My sincere THANKS and kudos for your wonderful service ethic. I would highly recommend Pastfinders to anyone searching for their British roots. It was disappointing that there was not much info to be found for the money I spent but that is not Pastfinders fault I can't think of anything to improve your service - it was excellent - I just wish I could afford to get you to do many more things for me - but never mind - I have your address if I need to use you again I was very grateful that you were able to go Bristol to find my ancestors trial records and that I now know why she was sent to the colonies.
