| When we began tracing
the Madelin family tree, we started with just a single piece of
information - a grandfather's death in 1900. Yet we traced the ancestry
back to the late 1600s, to when Huguenot ancestors had fled religious
persecution in France. We uncovered professions, illegitimate births, and
a wealth of stories. All for a family of humble origins.
With the Irons family, we had a bit more information to go on, and have traced over 400 names! So it is possible to discover a lot - why not see what we can find out for you? Quite how much there is to discover depends on a variety of issues - the rarity of the surname, the wealth of the family, how mobile they were, and how big a 'footprint' they left. So results vary, but it is always exciting! All we need from you is some information about your family. The more facts (names, dates, events, places) you can provide the quicker, cheaper and more comprehensive the results will be. Just let us know what you have gleaned so far, either by e-mail, or by using our Enquiry Form Family trees are produced in PC format, or as a hard copy. For a small fee, we can post your tree on an international genealogy website. By putting it in a wider arena, who knows? You may find you have more relatives than you think!
